Joe Jacoby
Despite his humble beginnings as an undrafted free agent of the 1981 Washington Redskins, Joe Jacoby, nicknamed “Jake”, is one of the most highly regarded offensive tackles in National Football League history. The anchor of the famed Washington Redskins “Hogs” offensive line, Jacoby is credited by many as having transformed the role of the Left Offensive Tackle within the National Football League. Most notably, The Jake was instrumental in helping lead the Redskins to three Super Bowl Championships. After his lengthy thirteen-year tenure with the Redskins, Jacoby retired in 1993.
